Xiaomi Mi Play Launched at 10,999 Rs. – New Helio P35 SoC

After the stream of leaks and rumors, the Xiaomi Mi Play is here officially launched in China. The device comes under the Mi Series because it looks totally different from the Redmi series devices. The gradient glass back, Waterdrop notch makes the device really eye-catchy. And it also comes with MediaTek’s new Helio P35 octa-core processor. We will discuss the processor letter. Bezels on this device have been reduced, thanks to the Waterdrop Notch. Both sides of the device feature Gorilla Glass. The rear is really looking amazing. The glossy finish with gradient colors will attract everyone. Atleast it is not dull finished like other Redmi devices. The dual camera is must have feature nowadays. So Xiaomi Mi Play also fulfills the requirement. The fingerprint sensor is also placed at the rear side of the Xiaomi Mi Play.

New MediaTek Helio P35 SoC:

This new midrange processor is a 12nm processor and the clock speed is 2.3GHz here. The processor stands somewhere between Snapdragon 625 and Snapdragon 632. The AnTuTu score also tells that. The CPU/GPU dual-turbo technology helps the processor to perform decently well. In terms of GPU, the processor comes with IMG GE8320 GPU which is clocked at 680MHz.

Price and availability:

The Xiaomi Mi Play announced with three color variants: Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Black. It comes with only 4GB RAM variant that provides 64GB onboard storage. The phone is launched at ¥1099 which is approximately converted to $160 (or Rs. 11,000).

You can get the device for free. Yeah, you read the right statement. Actually, Xiaomi is giving 10GB of free high-speed data for 12 months which is worth between ¥828 and ¥1296.
