Samsung S8 and Note 8 will get One UI Update
At the Samsung Developers Conference in San Francisco, with Samsung’s first foldable screen phone debut, Samsung also announced its latest One UI user interface, including some new visual style, including rounded corners, cross-application colors, and redesigned icons.
According to reports, Samsung’s One UI interface is mainly to make the interaction of large-screen mobile phones more friendly and easy one-handed usage, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 models will be upgraded to the One UI, but S8 and Note 8 have different views.
Some foreign media said that Samsung will not push this update to Samsung S8 and Samsung Note 8 models, but this has been denied today. Messages from Weibo bloggers “Master_Maserati”, “i Ice Universe”, etc. show that Samsung has confirmed that the S8 and Note 8 models will receive the One UI interface update after the Android 9.0 upgrade, and will not be abandoned.
One UI places the key interaction area near the half bottom of the screen, within the reach of the thumb, so you don’t have to touch the top left corner of the Galaxy Note very difficult. Samsung said that One UI is the “most user-centric smartphone experience” they have developed so far. So, one-handed usage will be very easy now.
