Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Launched with Android Go, 1GB RAM and Exynos Chip
Samsung officially announced their first Android Go smartphone Samsung Galaxy J2 Core. The smartphone comes with Android Go based Oreo which is a lite version of Android Oreo. In this device you will get all ‘Go version’ apps like YouTube Go, Maps Go, Files Go, Gmail Go, Gboard, Assistant Go and Google Go. The device will offer a 5-inch display and it is a TFT display with qHD resolution. It is launched in Malaysia and yet to be revealed in India. Samsung Galaxy J2 Core sports 5-inch TFT display with qHD (540X960 pixels) resolution. A quad-core Exynos 7570 SoC will be there. In terms of memory, it comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expandable via MicroSD. It supports 4G VoLTE so you can use Reliance Jio on it. As we mentioned above, it runs on Android Go version of Android Oreo. The 8-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture along with an LED flash helps to capture decent images. For selfies, the company provides 5MP front-facing shooter in this Galaxy J2 Core device. Beauty Mode is also there to give better results in portraits and selfies. The device is powered by a 2,600 mAh battery. This is a Samsung budget device. So don’t expect all sensors in this device. It brings only an accelerometer and proximity sensor. There’s no fingerprint scanner to unlock the device securely. The weight of the smartphone is 154 grams. The device is too much thick. The thickness is 8.9mm here. The price will be interesting.
