This past Thursday Xiaomi India tweeted the teaser of upcoming first phone of “Redmi by Xiaomi” sub brand. In that tweet, Xiaomi India Chief Manu Kumar Jain with Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun are being seen holding a Redmi Note 7 with the caption “#48MP is coming”. As we know Redmi Note 7 has already been Launched in China couple of weeks ago with the 48 MP rear camera on the back and the Redmi Note 7 Pro with 48MP rear camera was also teased on that launch event in China.
Now it’s still unclear by that Xiaomi India’s tweet if Both Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro are going to launch in India at the same time or it’s just Redmi Note 7 that is coming soon.
“Redmi by Xiaomi” sub branded Redmi Note 7 comes with a dual rear camera set up on its back; a 48MP (f/1.8 aperture) Samsung GMI primary sensor along with a 5MP depth sensor boost the photography part of this device. It is powered by 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of Internal storage. With the 6.30 inch FHD+ display, 13 MP selfie camera and 4,000 mAh gigantic battery, under the price of CYN 999 (Rs. 10,500 approx) it is definitely going to be a game changer.
Whereas Redmi Note 7 Pro will feature a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary Sensor on the back and rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC and it maybe priced around CYN 1,499 (Rs. 15,700 approx).
As of now we don’t have any other information about when Xiaomi is going to launch them but under this price segment, the features that these two smartphones hold is just amazing. So we have to wait until we get further updates from the company about the launch of the New Redmi Notes!
