HMD Global launched a killer smartphone Nokia X6 in China that is really doing very well there. Everyone is talking about this Notched Display Smartphone because it provides great specifications in midrange segment. They priced it very competitively. The 4GB+32GB variant priced at 1,299 Yuan (13,000 Rs. Approx), the 4GB+64GB at 1,499 Yuan (16,000 Rs. Approx) and 6GB+64GB at 1,699 Yuan (18,100 Rs. Approx). Recently, a global variant of this Nokia X6 has been spotted. So the Company is going to launch this device outside of China. But wait… There are few cons of this device that might stop you to go for this device. There are some reasons not to buy Nokia X6. Let’s have a look.
1. Not Slim – Reasons not to Buy Nokia X6:
The first con can be its thickness. Because it is not that much slim as compared to Mi A1, Mi 6X and etc. Its thickness is 8mm excluding the camera bump, with the bump it becomes 8.59mm. Mi A1 and Mi 6X are just 7.3mm thick. We can expect this much thickness on this Nokia X6 if the battery is huge. But that’s not the case here. It is not that much huge reason not to buy this device but still, it can be a deal breaker if you are looking for a gorgeous device.
2. Hybrid Sim Slot – Reasons not to Buy Nokia X6:
Each and every smartphone these days coming with Hybrid Sim slot. But its competitors Oppo Realme 1, Asus Zenfone Max Pro is providing a dedicated slot for storage expansion. What is the meaning of hybrid slot? It means that if you want to expand your storage via MicroSD you have to sacrifices you sim 2 slots. Basically, there are two options for you: 2 sims together or 1 sim with a MicroSD card. It means the sim 2 slot is hybrid. In India, most of the people have 2 sims now. So it can be a deal breaker for you.
3. No 4K Recording – Reasons not to Buy Nokia X6:
Nokia X6 is a midrange device. So maybe you are expecting 4K Recording capability. But there’s no option for 4K video recording. This device can only shoot videos up to [email protected] Most of the midrange devices are providing this basic feature. So if you are buying a device for video recording then maybe this Nokia X6 is not a good option for you.
4. Low Battery – Reasons not to Buy Nokia X6:
Nokia X6 is packed by 3,060 mAh of non-removable battery. Which is really too low as compared to its competitors. Maybe it can provide a good battery backup because of its software but on paper, it is not that much. Asus Zenfone Max is providing massive 5,000 mAh battery. So it is another reason not to buy.
5. The Notch in the display – Reasons not to buy Nokia X6:
The Nokia X6 sports 5.8-inch 19:9 aspect ratio display with Full HD+ resolution. There’s Notch in the display which can be a great thing only if you love Notch. But there are some people who don’t like Notch so for them it can be another deal breaker.
So these all are the reasons not to buy Nokia X6. Few reasons might not affect your priorities. If above reasons are not affecting your priorities then the Nokia X6 is the best device for you in this price segment. Overall the Nokia X6 is a killer device in this price segment.
