So, here are some cons of this device that can change your mind to not to buy this phone.

1. No Protection – Reasons not to buy Honor 9 Lite:
This beautiful device comes with 2.5D curve glass on both rear and back. The display is 5.65-inch IPS LCD full-view display with full-HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. But Company didn’t mention any type of protection (like gorilla glass) for both back and rear. So, you should take care of it.
2. Poor GPU – Reasons not to buy Honor 9 Lite:
Under the hood, it is powered by Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core SoC coupled with Mali T830 MP2 GPU. Huawei used the same GPU on Honor 6X that was launched a year ago. This GPU is not so great. So if you want a smartphone for gaming then it will be a deal-breaking point for you.

From 2017, most of the smartphones in this price segment comes with a hybrid slot. It means if you want to expand your storage via microSD card you have to use this slot to expand. It has 3,000 mAh of non-removable battery and there no fast charging. According to reviewers, it takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 100. So, if you travel a lot then this point may irritate you.

This point may not be a deal-breaker but it’s worth mentioning that it doesn’t offer an IR (infrared) blaster. You can control appliances like TV, AC etc with the help of this. Xiaomi Mi A1 offers an IR Blaster and Huawei provided the same in their Honor 8 pro.
