Nokia 6.1 Plus Launched in India at 15,999 Rs. – Should you Buy it?

HMD Global just launched their most awaited smartphone Nokia 6.1 Plus in India at just only 15,999 Rs. This device is known as Nokia X6 in other regions. The highlighting features of this device are Notch, glossy glass back, dual rear camera and Android One. They launched just one variant that comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. Nokia 6.1 Plus Price in India:

The only variant of this newly launched device is priced at 15,999 Rs. in India. There are three color variants: Gloss White, Gloss Black, and Gloss Midnight Blue. The device will be available via Flipkart and Nokia Online Store. The pre-order for this device is started and will end on August 30. The no-cost EMI will be also available there.

Nokia 6.1 Plus design:

Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with 5.8-inch 19:9 aspect ratio display. The notch is small here and carries a front-facing shooter, earpiece, and sensors. There’s a bottom chin where Nokia‘s brand is present. The rear side will have a glossy glass back with vertical dual rear camera setup at the top middle position. The fingerprint sensor is also at the rear side of the device. The volume rockers and power key are at the right side of the device.

Nokia 6.1 Plus sports 5.8-inch IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio, FullHD+ (1080X2280 pixels) resolution and the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There’s a tiny notch at the top of the display. It runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and comes with Android One Program. So definitely you will get Android Pie very fast. In terms of internals, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Octa-core SoC that is also present on Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. Adreno 509 GPU is there. Under the hood, it features 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is expandable via MicroSD on the hybrid slot.

Nokia 6.1 Plus offers a dual rear camera that features a 16MP, f/2.0 Primary shooter along with a 5MP, f/2.4 secondary monochrome sensor. The dual tone LED flash will help to capture better images in low light conditions. The notch has a 16MP Front-facing shooter for selfies. The aperture is f/2.0 here. It comes with USB Type-C option. It is powered by 3,060 mAh of non-removable battery. This device also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0.

The battery is not that much impressive here. So there are a lot of options in the same price segment like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 (6GB), Huawei Honor 9N, Xiaomi Mi A2, Huawei Honor Nova 3i etc. Let us know your thoughts on Nokia 6.1 Plus.
