Honor 8X and 8X Max are coming on September 5. Huawei‘s Subbrand Honor is going to launch their phablet type of device Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max. The company shared a poster where the launch date is mentioned. Previously, live images leaked and clear the design of this device. The Oppo‘s water-drop like the display is also present here. The major highlighting feature is its size. It is going to feature 7.12-inch huge display. The Max version of the device will differ only in their display. According to the GeekBench, the Honor 8X will sport company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core SoC. Whereas the Master Lu benchmark suggests Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood. The GPU Turbo feature will be there. In the midrange price segment, the Honor 8X will offer AI Super night mode and Elevator mode. Rest of the specifications will remain the same. But these are not official words so wait for that.
The Honor 8X is going to have a 7.12-inch huge LCD display with FullHD+ resolution and 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Maybe the display size will be smaller on 8X while the 8X Max will have the 7.12-inch size. It will come with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with their own EMUI Custom Skin. The device will be available in two different variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage. In terms of optics, the device will have a 16MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor at the rear side. While the front side will have an 8MP sensor which will be placed on that tiny Notch. The battery size will be 4,900 mAh here. The weight of the device will be 210 grams because of its huge size and huge battery. Clearly, the Max version is going to compete with Xiaomi‘s Mi Max 3 which comes with similar highlighting features. Honor 8X launch date in India still not confirmed. So stay tuned for that.
