Although smartwatches are not as good as they have been in the past two years, there are still manufacturers who will be able to move their minds on smartwatches. For example, the famous fashion watch brand Fossil has recently announced the launch of its new smartwatch Fossil Sport. Importantly, it is one of the first devices to use the Qualcomm Wear 3100 chipset.
It is understood that the Fossil Sports smartwatch adopts the Qualcomm Wear 3100, so it has much better endurance than the previous models. The 350mAh battery can be used for 24 hours. More than that, the Qualcomm Wear 3100 also offers a power-saving mode that extends battery life for up to two days, which is very useful in emergencies, such as nighttime we may forget to charge.
In appearance, Fossil Sport is available in 41mm and 43mm sizes, in six different colors, and is available in 28 different colored straps. Fossil says this is by far the lightest smartwatch with the features needed for a sports smartwatch, including GPS, NFC, altimeter, accelerometer, gyroscope and heart rate sensor.
As an early partner of Google Wear OS, Fossil Sport also uses Google Fit’s unique dial to help users lead a healthier life. Currently, the Fossil Sports smartwatch is priced at $255 which is approximately 18,500 Rs. in Indian currency and can be purchased on Fossil.com. It will be available at Fossil stores around the world starting November 12th. Fossil fans may be able to watch it.
