Nokia 7 vs Nokia 7 Plus: HMD global launched a lot of smartphones at MWC 2018, Barcelona. previously, they launched the Nokia 7 only in China. Now, they launched the successor Nokia 7 Plus with some improvements. It sports a 6.0-inch FullHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC which is an upgraded version of Snapdragon 630 SoC on Nokia 7. In terms of software, Android Oreo out of the box. For photography, Nokia 7 Plus sports dual 12MP Carl Zeiss sensor. In front, there’s a 16MP Camera. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear below the camera setup. There’s 3800 mAh battery with fast charging and USB Type-C.

Previously launched Nokia 7 offers 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with FullHD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. New upcoming Nokia 7 Plus sports 6-inch IPS LCD display with FullHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Both will have the protection of Corning Gorilla glass 3. So, the display will be improved in the new one.

Software – Nokia 7 vs Nokia 7 Plus:

In terms of software, both sports Android Oreo with Stock UI. HMD global is too serious about the Software updates.

New Nokia 7 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC which is the improved version of Snapdragon 630 SoC of Nokia 7. In terms of RAM and storage, both offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage with an option to expand via MicroSD card that will be placed on the hybrid slot. So, the performance will be enhanced in this successor Nokia 7 Plus.

Camera – Nokia 7 vs Nokia 7 Plus:

For photography, the predecessor Nokia 7 has a single 16MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5MP front camera. Nokia 7 Plus offers Carl Zeiss sensor with a combination of dual 12MP rear camera. It will improve the selfie by offering a 16MP front shooter. So, the camera will be improved in this successor of Nokia 7. There are some similar features in these devices like Bothie, Dual-sight live stream, 2X Optical Zoom and more.

Nokia 7 offers 3000 mAh battery with USB Type-C and Fast Charging. Whereas Nokia 7 Plus offers 3800 mAh battery.
